God has made several promises to the nation of Israel concerning the future. These promises relate to God restoring the nation of Israel to the Promised land and the Messiah ruling over them (and the whole world). Before that there will be a time of tribulation, which is described in the book of Revelation. It will end with the nation of Israel turning to Jesus as their Messiah and the return of Jesus to rule on earth. The promises fill be fulfilled only after the church age. The church age will end at the rapture of the church. The church does not replace Israel in God’s plan.
